Name of the Open Forum: The Role of Prince Edward Island Youth In Achieving the Millennium Development Goals
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
The main topic that will be focused will be Millennium Development Goal number 6) Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases. There will be a presentation on HIV/AIDS then small discussion groups on the other Millennium Development Goals.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
I think that the community is lacking awareness of the Millennium Development Goals and also a need to bring awareness to the organizations that are working on theses issues in the community.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
To provide more awareness to youth on the Millennium Development Goals, and to involve more youth to work with the organizations that are working with the issues of the Millennium Development Goals.
