Palestine Summer Encounter is an annual program that was launched in 2003. It is a one to three month cultural immersion and Arabic language training program in the city of Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants live with host families, study Arabic at a local college and are placed at individual volunteer opportunities at Palestinian nonprofits, schools, churches, hospitals and humanitarian organizations.
