The goal of this project is to educate 70 % of the youth of the Gyenyasi Junior High School on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the issue of climate change with particular emphasis on educating participants to protect the environment. Through this learning partnership, youth and other interested people will be inspired to take an action for the achievement of the Goal Seven (7) of the MDGs while we involve them in taking action and creating an opportunity for tree planting.
This will further provide impetus and the enabling environment for the youth to be part of the Global Campaign against Poverty, the MDGs and decision making on issues that affect them and their community through a declaration that will be collected and organized into an advocacy material.
This project will also involve the media through a strategic media relation to help in ensuring widespread awareness on the achievement of the youth in Gyenyasi Junior High School.
The project will also improve the human capacity of students through a capacity building workshop.

Young People We Care (YPWC)
Our program works with young people in areas of Youth Migration,HIV/AIDS and the Millennium Development Goals.The YPWC Capacity Development Institute has also been helpful in equipping young people with skills and resources that will aid their advocacy work.
