NECC is one of the best conferences for teachers. There is so much to see and do and the vendors hall is always so much fun. This year's highlight was the keynote address by fellow Canadians Tim Carleton and Mali Bickley. They told their inspiring story of how technology changed their teaching practice and student learning. They shared their heartwarming story of classroom projects around the world and the ongoing relationship and financial commitment to a school in Sierra Leone. It truly showed how teachers and students can make a difference to others.

I also thought it was great to see Michael Furdyk here too and the recognition that Tim and Mali gave TakingITGlobal as a place to collaborate with other teachers through TIGed.

This is the place you want to be for great classroom ideas and meeting other teachers using technology in their classroom. Hope to see you at the TIG booth today! Cheers, Julia
