DetailsAbout
This course examines intra-community and intra-state conflicts. It will enable participants to understand the
complexity and dynamics of conflicts related to issues of identity, resources, minorities, culture and beliefs. It
will address tensions within and between communities, and focus on developing strategies for a range of
interventions to tackle the underlying causes of the conflicts.
The course is designed for those engaged in community cohesion, development and race relations activities
and for those working with local councils, non-governmental organisations, faith-based organisations, the
police, and other service providers.
