On an invitation from the Goethe Institut in Cairo, Mr. Thomas Thorausch the vice director of Deutsches Tanzarchiv Koeln, and Adham Hafez founder and director of HaRaKa, Ismail Fayed and Shahira Eissa, will all present two evenings of film screenings on dance as well as lectures. Thorausch will give a lecture “Visual Essays on Dance and Movement”, that will be followed by two readings of texts on dance and image by Ismail Fayed and Shahira Eissa from Egypt, and a talk with Adham Hafez on “Dance, Repetition and the Image.”
