The Zagreb International Model United Nations (ZAGIMUN) is an annual United Nations simulation for university students. It will be held this year for the 1st time in Zagreb, Croatia, from the 21st until the 26th October.
Model United Nations conference is an exquisite opportunity for introducing the world history topics and politics to the students in an educational but also entertaining way. Every simulated committee will have topic of particular interest, focusing on issues and themes that are contemporary and relevant at world or regional political scene.
2007 ZAGIMUN will simulate four Committees as follows:
* Security Council (SC)
* Human Rights Council (HRC)
* Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
* Conference on Disarmament (CD)
The participation fee is 100 euro per person and it is applicable for all delegates and journalists.
The fee includes:
* Participation at the ZAGIMUN 2007 conference
* Coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon
* Gala dinner
* Social activities e.g. parties
Expenses generously covered by our partners:
* Lunch during weekly sessions
* Welcome dinner
* Materials for the Conference
* Excursion to the city of Varaždin
* Accommodation costs (breakfast included)
Expenses not covered by the fee or our partners:
* All meals not mentioned afore
* Travel costs to and from Zagreb
* Personal expenses
