On June 15th, 1986, the British Columbia Persons With AIDS Society (BCPWA) launched the first AIDS WALK in Canada. Twenty-two years later, the AIDS WALK continues to increase community awareness and to raise funds for direct services for persons living with HIV and AIDS.
Come on out and enjoy a day of celebration! Live music, including favorite Vancouver bands SPYGIRL, Brickhouse and the Kitchen will be playing from noon till 4pm. |
