The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life is an unforgettable night of celebrating survival, paying tribute to the lives of loved ones, and enjoying fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer! This is a 12 hour, overnight, non-competitive Relay that brings people in the community together under the common goal of beating cancer.
St. Thomas University is excited to be holding their first Relay for Life on campus Friday March 23rd. This event is being organized completely by students and has helped strengthen the bonds within the University. As a proud member of the Fredericton community, St. Thomas University strives to raise as much support possible to ensure we have a successful event that can be enjoyed by the students and the community.
I encourage you all to start or join your own teams. You can register online at the link below. You will be provided with a drop down box to choose St Thomas University's relay. You can then send emails to your family and friends requesting online donations. This cuts the administrative cost to the Canadian Cancer Society and more of the money will go directly to cancer research.
If you prefer to register on paper, you can contact Danielle Dinsmore (danielle_dinsmore3@hotmail.com) and Mary Miernicki (marymier@hotmail.com) to register your team.
Teams consist of 10-12 members and there is a $10 registration fee for each participant.
