DetailsAbout
1 Degree Asia is a 5-day festival which will bring 300 young social change-makers from all over Asia to Singapore, 25-29 July 2006.

1° Asia is committed to raising awareness of the global issues confronting Asia, and equipping young people with skills, knowledge and networks to rise to the challenge.

Here’s a snapshot of our diverse, power-packed program: HIV/AIDS, environment, media & culture, the Millennium Development Goals, social entrepreneurship, corruption, arts & technology for social change, and more. In addition, participants can also look forward to theatre workshops, a futsal tournament, poetry slam, Fair Trade coffee break and the Asian Film Showcases.

Some of our partners and participating organisations include: United Nations Environment Program, United Nations Millennium Campaign, the World Bank, Oxfam UK, Ashoka Foundation, Medecins Sans Frontieres, Save The Children, and more.

Closing date for applications is July 1.

See you at 1 Degee Asia!
